A few convictions drawn from intensive practice :
-The pedagogical sequence needs to be worked on and reworked in order to obtain a result as "timed" as the news prompter.
-The voice must be dynamic and the tone varied. The presenter must maintain the audience's attention by adopting a dynamic and varied tone, like a morning radio presenter who captivates his audience.
-Mosaic video mode, with everyone on screen, is ideal for brainstorming and discussion sequences: it gives a real sense of community.
-The virtual flipchart with video capture of the presenter's "real" hand drawing diagrams and explaining them is our favorite trick for staying authentic and capturing attention.
-But the whiteboard is also a highly collaborative, interactive tool that allows participants to act on the content.
-Sub-group work is also possible, provided that breakout rooms are organized, and the facilitator "visits" each sosu-group, moving from one sub-meeting to the next. It's fun and enjoyable.
-Finally, we strongly recommend the use of a polling tool, to involve everyone in questions, moderate answers, get people to vote on options and visually converge as a group on solutions. At FinHarmony, we've adopted PollEv.
