Why choose this course?

The goal of this workshop is to make finance training fun. In a competitive setting, participants build their financial position on the game board and interpret the results of their decisions. The consequences of their strategic decisions are immediate. This helps participants understand how they contribute (and will contribute) to their company’s success.

This training course can serve as the first step in a “finance for non-financial professionals” training program, or it can be adapted into a fun, half-day team-building session to kick off a corporate seminar.

Teaching and assessment methods

Course details: “Finance for Everyone” is a hands-on business simulation that connects participants and engages them. The game was developed by Andromeda Simulations International in the U.S.

Practical details:

– Participants: A minimum of 12 and a maximum of 24 in-person (18 online). The instructors are certified.

During the session: The game board helps participants visualize the connections between the balance sheet and the income statement, the cash position, and so on. Participants are divided into teams and must make the best decisions to ensure their company remains sustainable and profitable. As the workshop progresses, trainees will become familiar with the fundamentals of finance while having fun. A real sense of friendly competition emerges!

A comprehensive booklet outlining the company's structure and business concepts is distributed at the beginning of the session so that participants can track their decisions and the resulting financial outcomes.

The frequent discussions within the teams and the facilitator’s input help reinforce the material and ensure that participants have acquired the knowledge.

Afterwards: the trainer is available at the end of the course to answer any questions relating to the training.
