On the game board stands a diagram representing an intuitive and step-by-step approach to financial logic based on cash flow.

Using data from your group, recreate and calculate the 4 components of the simplified balance sheet (CP, Debt, WCR and Net Real Estate) and acquire the first game rewards in numerical form (platinum, gold, silver, bronze) which will be used for the rest of the game.

3 – Master income statement and margins:

From the group’s income statement, recreate and calculate the 3 operating balances (Revenue, EBIT and net income) and acquire « rewards » in numerical form (platinum, gold, silver, bronze) which will also be used for the next

4 – Make the link between balance sheet, income statement and cash:

Attach each transaction to one of the financial cycle arrows on the game board.

5 – Use the main indicators for operational performance measurement:

Calculate KPIs using combinations of elements on the game board and acquire « rewards » in the form of encrypted magnetic KPI labels (platinum, gold, silver, or bronze).

This typical course can be personalized by adding milestones specific to your activity.

For example: understanding the impacts of long-term project management (progress accounting): risks and impacts on results related to incorrect budgets and/or reporting of achievements.

An original approach setting training in time, allowing communication between two steps sometimes further away from a training project (launch, announcement, pilot, progressive deployment, refresher training, are steps that can be carried out over several months).

  • Before training, cards are sent to participants in separate sets and are invited to reconstitute families. The collection aspect to be completed gradually creates an emulation.
  • During training, cards are used again during financial statement presentation sequences.
  • Participants are then asked to reposition cards on financial statement masks in their appropriate position, namely facing wording corresponding to their content.
